How about just giving a shit?
Quit lying to the fans about the goal of winning the WS unless you're willing to spend money, if necessary, to put together a competitive team
6. Hit into less double plays
7. Make less outs on the base paths
8. Start less at bats with an 0-2 count
9. Hire a new manager
10. Re Sign John and Suzyn to 30 year contract
Sign John and Suzyn? Why do Yankee fans decry incompetence everywhere in the organization but romanticize it in the broadcast booth?
As duque well knows, nothing rational or constructive will take place in the baseball operation as long as Cashman heads it. Why not stick to this one most important point? Anything else is fostering illusions.

Figure out what to do with ourselves when MLB 2022 is not played because of a labor impasse after CBA expires in December
The All-knowing Archangel
12. Get Gary Sanchez a much bigger catcher's mitt
12a. With another team's logo on it.
How about an owner swap? I’d trade Hal for Cohen. While we’re at it swap Cashman for Theo
We romanticize The Master and Suzyn because they DO NOT AFFECT THE QUALITY OF PLAY. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MESS. THEY MERELY REPORT ON IT.
They consistently and honestly reported on all the Yankee failings that we decry here daily. The poor baserunning. The GIDP. The strikeouts. The lackluster defense. The lack of hitting, timely or otherwise. Everything was held up for criticism.
They may be homers, but they are our homers and we love them.
They don't report on it. Sterling misses half the on-field detail that you get from other, more competent, radiocasters. Waldman has almost nothing original or insightful to say about strategy or tactics on the field. They are two of the worst in the business at what they do.
No sportscaster affects the quality of play--that is not the issue. But they do affect the listenability of the live reportage of the Yankee games, which is the worst of any big-market team, and by a wide margin. You shouldn't have to be a connoisseur of camp, a "so-bad-it's-good" ironist, to say something positive about a broadcast team.
Any play-by-play person will give you the basics of what's going on on the field. That's no great accolade. But to do it with real flair and competence and attention to detail is something that's beyond Kay and Sterling and Waldman. Compare them to any other broadcast team you can think of, local or national, TV or radio, and they rank among the worst.
Andy why exactly would anyone "like" incompetence? What's likable overtly abrasive, brazenly self-promoting old fogey who takes up half his broadcast with dopey tirades about analytics and routinely makes mistakes that would get anyone else fired?
Not everyone on this list "loves" Sterling. The whole concept of this blog is to ridicule his ineptitude, in case you don't really understand the meaning of the title of the blog. It's a sad commentary on the state of this franchise--the team formerly knows as the Yankees but now known as the chronic also-rans--that incompetence is rationalized as a running joke by so-called fans rather than bemoaned as a symptom of an inept and rotting organization.

So, puckered is speaking for Duque now?
Brown acid all around folks!
"The whole concept of this blog"
I am still chuckling at that half-assed projection.
Keep it coming ass clown.
She IS quite full of herself, isn't she?
