Hitting coach Marcus Thames is out.
Reasons:
His trades for Joey Gallo and Andrew Heaney.
His ill-fated move of Gleyber Torres to shortstop.
His inability to make Clint Frazier hit.
His failure to help Gerrit Cole pitch in the wild card game.
His unwillingness to solve Aroldis Chapman's wildness.
His refusal to keep Aaron Hicks from getting hurt.
Garret Whitlock.
Rudy Giuliani's leaking hair gel.
UPDATE: Phil "Go for it!" Nevin is out, along with PJ "Who? Pilittere.

Phil Nevin out, too! Blood on the walls!
Everyone is in jeopardy aside from Cashman and the very Bloated Front Office.
Maybe Nevin and Thames will flip and rat out Cashman.
Good fucking riddance. Now someone needs to throw a hand grenade at the analytics dept
Meanwhile, the actual goat (not GOAT), Boone, will ... escape unscathed.
Badumtsssss
Going into the season dumpster diving to fill out the rotation with Kluber and Taillon.
If they do re-hire Boone, they will force him to take the coaches which CASHman selects.
On the other hand, if they do re-hire him,I will cut my last financial cord with them by canceling my MLB Package before next season.
I'll just revert to my 10-year old self and read the scores in the morning, peruse boxscores that don't include WAR's and read this site.
They will not squeeze one bloody dime from me.
Maybe they'll end up in Pittsburgh. It's where former Yankees personnel go to die. Ask Bullethead Joe.
Reshuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic
Nah, they'll give Ma Boone another year. He's an emergency fire box, to be smashed open and used only in case of emergency. That emergency will come sometime next year, when yet another badly assembled Cashman team stumbles out of the box.
Somebody mentioned the Yankees analytics dept. A faceless, nameless shadow agency that has complete control. If they were fired, or promoted, or taken out in the woodshed and punished how would we even know?
Firing these guys is low hanging fruit
Love to talk history, Anon, thanks!
And while that stat is true, it takes a little prestidigitation.
For instance, Girardi won the Series in his second year as manager. But not in his last 8. Torre in his last 7, Houk in his last 8 (on his second time around). And the last guy they did NOT fire after four years failing to win the Series (in his case, five years) was Miller Huggins, a dandy little manager, who would eventually win 6 pennants and 3 World Series.
And hey, another great moment for MLB: Game 5 of the NLDS ends on a called strike that was actually a checked swing.
Apart from whoever we wanted to win, it's nuts. Yet another 2-1 game that lasted 3 hours and 40 minutes, filled with strikeouts. And...decided on a bad call.
Not to mention the fact that, as it is, the endless playoff series erase the work of the long season.
Great work. Dammit, the game is dying before our eyes.
And great work by Cashman in not even considering going after Scherzer as a free agent.
@mik...As for the analytics department...there's an old saying in software development..."garbage in, garbage out"...sort of sums up the Yanks...
