Last night, the Great Right Hope homered, his first of 2016. It went to the opposite field, as he was jammed on an inside pitch. (This is good.)
He didn't strike out. (Real good.)
Aaron Judge has now come to bat 35 times: He has 12 hits, three doubles, three RBIs, and 12 strikeouts.
Thus far, he's hitting .231 against a smattering of lefties and .409 against RHers. (He is, of course, right-handed.) His HR came against a righty.
Last night, he stole his first base of the year.

I SMELL A "ROAD BLOCK" WITH JUDGE.....AND I DO LIKE THE IDEA OF BRINGING 'OL SWISHALICIOUS BACK (BUT AS INSURANCE FOR TEX ONLY)......BUT IF, DOWN THE ROAD, I EVER SEE SWISH PLAY RIGHT FIELD FOR EVEN 1 INNING, I AM GOING TO GO BALLISTIC.....BECAUSE THAT WILL MEAN JUDGE WOULD BE PASSED OVER, WHICH IN TURN WOULD MAKE ME VOMIT, AND VOMIT VIOLENTLY. THIS ORGANIZATION MUST, AND I MEAN MUST, BRING AARON JUDGE UP THIS SEASON, AND COMMIT HIM TO SOME SORT OF PLAYING TIME (AND I AM NOT TALKING A BULLSHIT SEPTEMBER CALL-UP).
I am hoping that Swisher returns to pitching, masters the knuckleball, and becomes our Tim Wakefield until age 48.
He cannot play outfield.
They are hoping he can play FB when Tex ( now hitting a robust .200 ) gets injured.
We have such riches in Yankeeland.
