It is a mistake to play baseball at Yankee stadium today.
They should shorten the damn season, so that games like these don't get scheduled in rain/snow.
Only bad things can happen.
Muscles get pulled; arms get strained, ankles get turned, batters get hit.
Watch Out!
And don't say you were not warned.
Today is a bad omen for opening a season in the Bronx.

If there's baseball and beer and a day off from work, we go to the game.
We made the decision not to go today, mostly to avoid sitting in the cold rain.
We're either getting old and wimpy or the Yankees front office is dumber than we are.
Why does Suzyn sound so sad/muted?
Ok she’s clearly sick. Or hoarse. She’s always horse. Not a dog though. If she was a dog, she wouldn’t be a retriever, or a lab, or a border collie. She’d be a sad dog. Like a melon collie. Not much interesting goin’ on in the melon patch, I’d be a sad bored dog too. But wow yeah she sounds bad. Woof.
John just invoked the blog on Tyler Wade’s fly ball to right. Very exciting. Way more fun then listening to that vaunted bullpen piss away another lead.
It’s cute that Suzyn was tracking when John would say “That’s baseball Suzyn”. Well for the record, we stand at one.
Please find another icon for your bad omen, Fonz - - that black kitty is beautiful - - and I might have to sue you for defamation if you don't cease & desist...and then, you've have to appear in court to be deposed...wouldn't want to do that to such a fine blogger... LB (No J)
Right about Suzyn...she sounded like they got the message from management and found out that she and John would get fired by the end of the year. She would be replaced by Siri. Don't know about John.
Well Suzyn and John were talking about hot toddies as a remedy for her sore throat, and then John said something like "All you have to do is say it's medicinal!"
