Yanks as a team batting .207. Andujar is 0 for April. Have we overrated this guy? He's already hit his ceiling?
As for ceilings, the Yanks are playing as if they are in a basement with a 7 foot drop ceiling. I know it's early, and The Master says not to look at the standings until 20 games, but we all should be concerned right now. We didn't sign up for this type of baseball.

They will play bettter before the season ends . However, it appears they are over hyped due to the addition of Stanton. That is not his fault. He didn’t write all the articles proclaiming theYankees the team to beat. Even when they get healthy, Houston and Boston are better. Still a year away in my view.
Gotta agree with the Ghost - still a year away. This is Yankees circa 1995, not 1996. Drury is just a place holder until Machado signs, and Wade is just holding the spot for Torres. CC is pretty much done. I know from experience that hip issues don't ever really go away, and besides, his era after 75 pitches is something like 9.00. The team needs time to gel, and Boone has to make all his stupid rookie mistakes. We need two more starters - maybe German gets a chance now to develop and we pick up a frontline starter at the deadline, or next year. Frazier and McKinney need this year to get their feet wet, and Bird, if he's ever going to stick, needs this year to get it together, too. We're on the cusp. Not ready to beat Houston yet.
