AnDUjar! AnDUjar! AnDUjar!

Every time Joey Gallo goes up to the plate the stadium crowd should chant...

AnDUjar! AnDUjar! AnDUjar!

Until the kid gets the Left Field job. He deserves it.

How can we get this done?

But what will become of our Joey?

Also...

Where I come from, you hit a ball right at a major-league shortstop, and it pops off his glove and into left field...that's an error.

Probably just as well, as it meant Ma Boone wasn't tempted to overwork Sevvy. But still.

Hoss -

Agree and agree. Plus...

If it was called an error the pressure would have been different for all subsequent innings (until there was a hit) so it would become a different game. Who knows if we win?

So today Micheal K was talking about AnDUjar's situation and he mentioned these OPS

Hicks .596
Gallo .577
AnDUjar .596

So you see, concluded Micheal Kay, there isn't much difference between them.

What a crock of shit. This is why I invented the AYG-HAB to begin with.

AnDUjar 7.7
Hicks 1.1
Gallo Negative 2

There is no way that ANYBODY who watches this team would rather have Hicks or Gallo at bat ever, much less with the game on the line. AnDUjar makes contact, hits doubles and hustles. Who cares that their OPS is close.

Also, AnDUjar was just starting to get into the flow. More hits were coming. Gallo and Hicks are both finished as ballplayers.

Kay and Paulie were really shilling the corporate line to day and we all know how we feel about Shilling (and his bloody sock)

@ Horace...You come from the same place I do...the 1960's -1980's, where that would be rated an error. Now it's " the sun probably got in his eyes so that's a base hit."

@ Doug K....I love Schilling!....Peter Schilling and his best song "Major Tom", auf Deutsch and English versions.

Sustained success means that the intern will keep the Twitch and Hicks around until the All Star Break and/or the trade deadline.

The team can withstand their embarrassing lack of offense (until they can't).

Look for the Twitch to be moved before Hicks for several reasons which are already all too obvious.

Andu you know that whilst the lineup is still neurologically challenged, Andujar does benefit from steady playing time.

I do believe that the intern is actively trying to move the Twitch under the pretense that he can't handle NY.

So there is a small chance that he may be moved sooner than we think.

Time to make dinner.

Agreed, AA. Cashman is biding his time, preening and posing to other GM's that the team is doing just great and they can win with him but he can't handle NY so we will cut you a break and trade him for next to nothing and you'll be getting a great deal. He will find some sucker at some price given time.

There is no getting rid of Gallo. He was the front office's big move ( big contract ) during the off season. It would be like benching a spanking new arrival named, Ellsbury.

The big money guys will play until they cannot. There is no accountability in baseball.

Gallo only K'd three times today.

Thing is, Andu sparks! Like that double in a 1-0 losing game. Brings life. And I know (at least believe) that if he played daily he would be a premier major league hitter. His defense is better -- he suffered from Management Myopia, where the boss decides "he's in this bag and he'll never get out" when people learn all the time. Iirc, the great Brooks Robinson was crappy at 3rd his first year or two.

Gallows adds inventory to his Mexican hat boutique daily: Sombreros and Golden Sombreros. The sign in the window says " Coming soon-Platinum Sombreros!

The Twitch is gone this year - quite possibly prior to the end of the year. It will allow all parties to be out of their misery. Remember the Twitch is only signed to a one year deal just north of 10 million. We can absorb some or all of that amount to move him to a less stressful environment. You'll see.

THEY BOTH SUCK. The guy with options gets sent down. Whats so hard to understand? If it was me I would just let Gallo go, but they are paying him decent money albeit in a one year deal and have time to "try" to get him right while the rest of the team is doing ok. Come August, and this is the same, he will be released. He does have JUST enough of a track record to hold onto him while Andujar has an option. Sad for Andujar, but business is the reality. And if Andujar wants to be traded...LOL. Has anyone seen where his trade value has gone? He is stuck. If h holds on and Gallo is let go, he can be a rotational player here in a championship run. Or, would he rather be full time in Pittsburgh or Detroit? Pretty sure he is a FA next year, so choose wisely.

Andujar squats like Buddha in a 10 ft. Scranton motel room/
An innocent player in a living hell.

Thanks BD

Hard not to be frustrated, particularly when you've come all that way back from traumatic injuries.

Keeping Gallo is idiotic. Hicks is through, too.

But hey, the team keeps winning!

Andujar will not be a F/A until 2025.

Good thought Doug. How about c-l-u-e-l-e-s-s Cashman.

AnDUjar is making $1.3 million guaranteed. He wants to make more than that...can't do that not playing every day...can't say that I blame him...

I actually heard several Joey chants at the Stadium. Nothing can help Joey. He is not made for New York.
