Think of it this way:

You pitch a good game against the Redsocks, and you find yourself being publicly identified by the Mitchell Commission as a suspected steroid abuser.

Is it worth it?

Was it worth it for Paul Byrd?

Was it worth it for Jason Giambi early this spring?
