We suck

As usual, the Yankee's vaunted offense ( "no soft spots in that line-up " ) has retired for the post season.

A-Rod, of course, is no surprise. He carried the team into the playoffs and, for him, that is enough.

No one else can hit. Not good pitching, that is. We are fine against the AAA+ major league teams, but when it matters? Forgettaboutit.

We got outstanding pitching and still lost.

We got bugged, hammered and undressed in two days at the Jake.

Time for Mr. torre to retire. Time for the team to be revamped . I say, let's just have one team in NY and combine the best of Yanks with best of Mets.

That will give us about 15 guys. And we can sign a bunch of free agents to complete the roster.

I am not even going to acknowlegdge that the Yankees have another game yet to lose.

I am heading today for Alaska with TYler Clippard, David Wright and, maybe, Joba. Although once Joba hears that there are black flies in Alaska during October, he may pass.

Why bother with this huge comeback during the season? it is a waste of everyone's time.

This may be the fist, first-round of playoffs where every team ( all the losers, that is ) are swept.

We'll be the first out, by my reckoning. A fine accomplishment for the third consecutive season.

There is no point in following or rooting for the Yankees anymore.

The Red sox are going to have Number 2 in about 2 weeks. I hope it gets all over them forever.
