The master was just commenting that Boone like Wade in for defense with ground ball pitchers. This means that Walker is in for his bat. He of the .548 OPS. A regular member of murderers row.
Waiting for the first mound visit for Higashioka. How much do you want to bet they will cover their mouths even though they're speaking Japanese?
Johnnie Walker's performance is only explicable by the fact that he's drunk most of the time.
The problem must be that he is white Johnnie Walker. Black Johnnie Walker is pretty good.
EVERYONE TO THE BUNKERS
It's amusing, somehow, that Sterling completely blew Walker's home run call. First he didn't say one, then he came back with "Walker the Stroker", then he acknowledged he needs to work on it....
Even the Master has written him off.
And I don't know how many times I need to say it, but Green is wildly overrated and a gigantic bum.
That was a terrible outing by Green.
But more than that, this game was another tribute to our approach to hitting.
11 strikeouts, 1 walk. 5 of the Ks came from our Twin Termite Mounds, once again inexplicably separated by our .263-hitting shortstop. And of course, augmented by a lineup that included both Higashioka and Neil Walker.
We need a new name for game like these. They don't even rise to the level of excruciating pineapple losses.
This, to me, was a mangy dog loss. We played like a bunch of mangy dogs.
I am without words ...
