Yanks Remain Undefeated in September

After toying with the Tigers yesterday, teasing them by blowing most of an 11-2 lead after Sidney hurt his hand failing to stab a sure DP ball, and Edwar turned back the clock by giving up every runner he inherited and then offered up a clean "all Edwar " dinger toBrandon  Inge,, this Yankee machine turned back time and the" kitties from Detroit," and won easily.

Mariano wasn't even needed in this deceptively simple, September win.  All the other bullpen guys got a shot to stretch themselves out a  bit, in preparation for the Yanks' upcoming 7000 mile road trip.

Watch now, for the first real Yankee run of the season to begin.  An undefeated September will edge us closer to the wild card trophy than we have been since last season.

So don't despair Yankee-ographers.  This is what we have been waiting for.

A=Rod is primed, Robbie has a new glove, Jason has new shoes and the September
reinforcements will soon begin trickling in.

29-0 for the month.

That's the ticket.
