off topic: now this may have been addressed already, but do the yankees have to pay ellsbury a non-prorated salary this year because they released him?
To regurgitate an old IIHIIFIIC often-repeated line, the Yankees would be better off if they were Happ-less. I just had to check his age on Wikipedia: 37. Should MLB think about instating a mandatory retirement age? Or is that too politically incorrect?
And he, who was once called Ice Cream Sandwich, is now Ice Cream Sadness.
Who was that who gave up the homer? I tuned in late, and had to keep the volume down, but they keep saying these names of our 45 relief pitchers that I don't recognize.
Have we moved into yet another dimension? I thought the bullpen was supposed to be pretty set. Why are there so many rookies and unknowns out there?
By the way, call of the day was the Yankees' crack broadcast team saying this guy had such amazing movement—because he hit a nothing batter in the leg.

Sanchez sucks. Mr. Potential, the "best pure hitter on the team," my ass.
He should be getting splinters. Same with Gardy. He has Frazier's job.
Damn.
If not Frazier, AnDUjar should be playing every day. I wonder if he can catch. If Gio stumbles, put him back at third.
Damn.
Fucking Happ. Blowing a 5-0 lead. Retire, already.
Damn.

What's Jesus Montero up to? I'd rather see his ice cream sandwich eating ass than Sanchez.

Rick Ankiel had great movement, too.
Great moment for Judge, terrific to see.
But is it just me, or does he seem very wan, serious, even sad? Maybe it's the new haircut.
